We will be breeding him to our WCS Glock and WCS Lonestar daughters in herd.   He's a product of our breeding program sired by TCL Huck B4497 and his dam is TCL Rexs Vienna E7372 that has proven to be a great female.  We stack female and sire pedigrees that are proven in our herd.   The Huck and Rex daughters have proven that they have excellent udders and maternal value with fertility.  It's not an overnight success to prove a pedigrees.  It takes consistent breeding of a line to prove it.  We attempt to keep those traits in our herd.

He was one of those calves that just stood out of the pack!  His granddam TLC Buds Betsy P4154 was full sister to National Show Heifer of the Year TLC Buds Star R5150.  So adding him to the herd meant keeping good looks and udder quality.  He was an experiment in our breeding program to keep them half Simmental, quarter Angus and quarter Braunvieh.   It has worked and daughters are keepers. Early maturing and easy keepers with those beautiful udders we hoped to get.

 Mick was a natural calf at side of Malinda a TLC/TLCC Turk daughter.  He came small and had tremendous growth.  We are also seeing that trait in his progeny.  TLC/TCL Micks Gator (right) is one to watch for the next couple of years in the show ring.  Owned by Lauren Boeckel.  We have retained semen rights on this top prospect. Malinda was named for our friend Malinda Bowman that passed away from colon cancer.  

TCL Sam I Am K2355   Reg Number 4282523  was selected out of the Spring calves last year by Tyson when he purchased 10 heifers for replacements.  He would need a young bull to put on them and he asked for our opinion on the best calf we had!  It wasn't hard to pick out Sam above the rest!  So we kept him and halter broke him and he picked him up in February 2024.   We want to keep track of this guy for sure!
